Kent Magicians Guild Lecture

The Kent Magicians Guild are holding a lecture at 8.00 pm on Tuesday 26th January 2016 in their club premises at CIU Dunton Green Social Club, 159 London Road, Dunton Green, Kent, TN13 2TA. (Directions can be found on their website.)

The lecturer is Ken Joy, the well-known Water Rat, who works mainly on cruise liners nowadays, with his very successful comedy magic act, and giving talks on various aspects of show business. He also appeared for many years as a panto dame.

The lecture will include a film show with footage of many of the famous acts he has known throughout his career. This promises to be a fantastic evening for comedy as well, because Ken can talk the hind legs off a donkey!

Designed to deliver a lean, supple and toned physique, the LotteBerk® method of exercise is now operating classes at Sawmill Studios in Brasted.

Created by the revolutionary fitness guru Lotte Berk, this highly effective workout fuses modern dance, yoga and physiotherapy to shape and condition the whole body. LotteBerk® will also help you improve your curves and shave inches.

The exercises are strenuous without being aerobic. You will work at the ballet barre with balls, blocks and small free weights. Muscles are strengthened and sculpted using a mix of low impact exercises with small, repetitive movements. Muscles are then stretched and lengthened out to deliver great results and a contoured figure.

Classes are taught to all abilities that wish to improve their fitness, body shape and stamina. Everybody works to their own ability and all levels of fitness are taken into account. No dance experience necessary.

Our new kitchen show room and interiors store opened in Sevenoaks on 12th June. Sevenoaks' Mayor was there to cut the ribbon at midday and lots of people came along to celebrate with us and enjoy a glass of bubbly and canapés cooked in our working AGA.

Our new Interiors shop in Sevenoaks, Kent showcases a signature Burlanes kitchen with working AGA and Quooker hot tap. There is also a selection of handmade furniture and beautiful flooring.
Lindsey, our head designer has handpicked some beautiful products for the home, these will constantly be updated to suit the seasons and are always sourced from the UK where possible. Many of the products are exclusive to Burlanes .
